Very little is known about the artist and unfortunately, we have been unable to identify the book in which these drawings were illustrated, it may have been that the project was never fully realized, however, the incredible works of John W. Wood live on with many other publications that he illustrated, mostly from the 60s and 70s. Titles include; Inside Underground Railways. A Gallery label will accompany each drawing listing the name of the artist and the title of the work. The drawings will be posted in protective clear polyester wrapping commonly used by paper conservators.
