Amongst the tasks set for the students in the Art Schools was an exercise in faithfully copying the work of a well-known artist. The original drawing by Mulready was executed in 1848 and is in the collection of the V&A: http://collections.vam.ac.uk/item/O1242632/male-nude-seated-three-quarter-drawing-mulready-william/
