Achilles Benz was a Swiss painter, engraver, etcher and graphic artist associated with the Kleinmeister or “Little Masters” tradition. Born in Dietikon, Switzerland, he trained under Peter Birmann and specialised in romantic landscape views and architectural subjects, particularly of Switzerland.
