We are pleased to be offering three pastels by the important Manchester architect Edgar Wood. On his retirement in 1921 he moved to Monte Calvario, near Imperia, on the Italian Riviera to live in a house that he had designed. The pastels we are offering were produced during the the last years he spent travelling and painting. He died on October 12, 1935 at Monte Calvario and he is buried at Diano Maria.
